Who We Are
Our team is comprised of public health professionals and research scientists with decades of experience working with Afghan refugees. The Director of SI, Mohammad Sediq Hazratzai MD, MPH is an Afghan physician and an active member of the refugee community in Sacramento region.
SI is assisted by Refugee Advisory Board (RAB), which is composed of seven members of the Afghan refugee community, resettlement agencies, employment, legal, and social services organizations. Board members meet quarterly, and serve for two years.
